Privacy Policy
What we need to connect a line, what stays on the account, and what you can ask us to remove.
What a connection requires
A service address is not optional for us: coverage is decided by the street and the block, so an enquiry starts with an address and a way to reach you. We also record the name the account is held in and, where the service is billed, the details required to bill it. Nothing else is a condition of being connected.
What stays on the account
Installation notes, the readings a technician takes at the socket, fault reports and the visits made in response to them are kept against the account. This is operational memory, not marketing: it exists so the next technician reads the history of the line instead of starting the diagnosis over.
Traffic passing over the line is carried, not catalogued. We do not build a record of the sites a subscriber visits in order to describe them to anyone.
Who else sees it
Contractors who install and repair lines see the address and the fault they are being sent to, and nothing beyond it. Where a lawful request compels disclosure, we comply with the request as written and no further.
What you can ask for
- a copy of what is held against your account;
- correction of an address, a name or a reading that is wrong;
- deletion of what we are not required to keep once service ends.
Write to the address below and say which of the three you want. A person reads it.
